1. Who we are
We are Grace Pearls, a beauty and wellness catalogue. We don't sell your data. We don't sell your soul. We do, however, curate products from brands like Mary Kay and Amway — which is already enough responsibility for one website.
2. What we collect
We may collect the following information when you use our site:
- Browsing data — pages visited, time spent, clicks. Think of us as very attentive shop assistants who never ask if you need help.
- Saved preferences — your chosen theme (march26 or springer), language, dark mode. Yes, we know you're using dark mode at 2am. We're not judging.
- Cookies — more on this below. Brace yourself for the saddest section of this page.
We don't directly collect names, emails, or payment details. That's what the partner brands and their own exhaustive sign-up forms are for.
3. Cookies 🍪
We use cookies. No, not the edible kind. Life is cruel.
Our cookies are used to:
- Remember your preferred language (so you don't have to choose PT/EN on every visit like it's some sort of loyalty test).
- Save your chosen theme (so your aesthetic stays intact between sessions).
- Analyse traffic — we count visits in the abstract, without identifying you personally.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. If you block them all, the site still works — it just won't remember your preferences. Like a goldfish with a grudge.
4. How we use your information
We use data to:
- Improve your experience on the site (and ours, because good analytics charts are satisfying).
- Understand which products and categories are most popular.
- Make sure the site works as intended — and not as it occasionally decides to.
We don't use your data to spam you, build psychological profiles, or try to sell you a gym membership you'll never use.
5. Sharing with third parties
This site includes links to partner platforms such as Mary Kay and Amway. When you click those links and continue to their websites, their privacy policy applies — we have no control over what happens on the other side of the door.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. Not even for a discount on mascara.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Know what we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of that data.
- Object to processing.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — if you've made it this far, you're either a lawyer or something's gone very wrong.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Nothing on the Internet is 100% secure — except the certainty that someone will always try to prove that wrong. We do our best.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. We will not send you a 47-page notification email. We consider that a fair trade.
